$17,000 Raised and Counting

Thank you so much to all those that are following our story and are helping us raise the money needed to bring Karina home.  Our home study is complete and approved.  Praise God for all he is doing to have his plan heard loud and clear.  We are now down to raising traveling money for airfare and hotel stays.  In order to adopt in Ukraine it is usually a minimum of 30 to 40 days.  Yikes!  That's a long time to have to pay for food and hotels.  But, we are looking at it as an adventure.  We are also hoping that God will bless us with enough money to bring our children with us.  They want to be part of meeting Karina for the first time and welcoming her into our family.  This adds some cost to our trip but God has already blessed us with a potentially free apartment to stay in in Kiev.  This will save us an awesome amount of money since Kiev is a city and expensive.  Please pray that this works out and they are available to host us during the time we will need to travel which is undetermined at this time though we are projecting on traveling in June or July.

We are also having a big fundraiser yard sale scheduled for March 19th from 8:00 am till 1:00.  We have had many people donate items to sell and we are planning on having a bake sale, hot dogs, drinks and whatever else we can think of.  Please pray that we have great weather and a huge turn out.

We are also planning on having a benefit Pampered Chef party possiblly on March 20th.  I know, crazy weekend.  But what great fun it will be to give God the avenue to work his magic.
